The City of Sanford is making a significant change to its public service schedule starting August 1. City Hall will shift from a four-day workweek with limited Friday hours to a Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. schedule, totaling 50 hours of weekly access.
This move aims to enhance customer service by providing more consistent and convenient access for residents, businesses, contractors, and visitors. City Manager Norton Bonaparte Jr. stated, "Our goal is to make city services more accessible. This schedule allows us to improve customer service, increase operational efficiency, and better align with the schedules of our residents and business community."
