Luumis has agreed to acquire certain operating assets of fintech company Kalder, adding customer rewards, subscription management, and transaction intelligence capabilities to its growing operational software platform for service enterprises. The acquisition supports Luumis’ strategy of building an integrated technology platform that connects business operations with customer engagement and retention.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The deal includes Kalder’s platform, intellectual property, customer relationships, and brand assets, while members of the company’s product and engineering team will join Luumis. Kalder’s existing customers will continue to receive platform support during the transition as the technology is integrated into Luumis’ broader software ecosystem.
The acquisition expands Luumis’ operational intelligence platform beyond internal business workflows by adding tools designed to strengthen customer relationships through card-linked rewards, subscription programs, commissions, and first-party transaction data. Rather than offering standalone applications, Luumis said it is building a unified platform that combines operational data with customer engagement capabilities to help service businesses improve retention and generate additional revenue.
“Operational intelligence should connect the entire lifecycle of a business—not only what happens inside the operation, but also what brings customers back,” said Frazier Horn, founder and chief executive officer of Luumis. He said Kalder’s technology adds customer rewards, subscription, and intelligence infrastructure that complements Luumis’ existing operational platform, with ServiceSync AI serving as the first product to integrate those capabilities.
Founded in 2022, Kalder developed a platform that enables businesses to launch branded customer loyalty programs using card-linked offers, subscription services, commissions, and transaction data. The company designed its technology as reusable infrastructure that can support multiple applications across industries rather than serving a single vertical.
“Kalder was built around a simple idea: businesses should be able to create stronger customer relationships through everyday commerce,” said Nazli Gungor, Kalder’s chief product officer. She said joining Luumis allows the company to extend that mission by embedding customer intelligence into a broader operational software platform.
Kalder Chief Technology Officer Pavan Krishnamurthy said the company’s architecture was designed to support a wide range of applications. By incorporating rewards, subscriptions, commissions, and transaction intelligence as platform services, the technology can be deployed across multiple industries through Luumis’ expanding product portfolio.
The first integration following the acquisition will focus on the automotive retail market. Luumis plans to incorporate Kalder’s customer engagement capabilities into ServiceSync AI, its operational intelligence platform for dealership service departments. The combined offering is expected to help dealerships improve customer retention, enhance communication, and identify new revenue opportunities by connecting operational workflows with loyalty and rewards programs.
Over time, Luumis plans to extend the shared technology infrastructure into additional service-intensive industries, reflecting a broader strategy of creating an integrated software platform that combines operational intelligence with customer relationship management.
Luumis develops operational intelligence software for service enterprises, with its flagship ServiceSync AI platform providing automotive service departments with real-time visibility into shop operations, customer communications, and workflow coordination. Kalder is a fintech platform specializing in customer engagement through card-linked rewards, subscription programs, commissions, and first-party transaction data that help businesses build stronger, data-driven customer relationships.
