About The Role As a Customer Service Representative at TurboTax, you will serve as a vital point of contact for our customers, assisting them with inquiries related to TurboTax products and tax return software. Your primary responsibilities will include answering questions about downloading, logging in, basic navigation, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing fundamental tax-related concerns. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a dynamic environment, supporting users during one of the most important times of the year. You will receive comprehensive training and continuous support from subject matter experts, ensuring you are well-equipped to provide outstanding service. Qualifications

  • No specific accounting background required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Flexible availability between 8am EST and 12am midnight EST, Monday to Sunday
  • Minimum of 20 hours per week; opportunity to work more hours if desired
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with questions regarding TurboTax products and tax software functionalities
  • Guide users through downloading, logging in, and basic navigation of the software
  • Support customers in importing documents, printing, and filing their tax returns
  • Address and resolve basic tax-related inquiries with patience and professionalism
  • Participate in certification training over two days to become a TurboTax Product Expert
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs during tax season
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Marketplace Performance Specialists to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Continuously update knowledge on TurboTax products and features to provide accurate assistance
