About the Role
arena is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Amazon Catalog & Data Specialist with 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience in Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central.
You will manage and optimize product listings, maintain catalog accuracy, and drive performance across Amazon platforms. A key focus will be identifying and correcting catalog defects in close collaboration with Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), ensuring listings are accurate, compliant, and optimized for visibility and conversion. You will also oversee new item setup for a large and growing catalog.
This role reports to the Amazon Manager and works closely with the Senior Amazon Catalog Manager. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working independently while staying aligned with team goals. Your work will directly impact product visibility, sales performance, and the overall customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCatalog & Content Management
- Enter and maintain product data (titles, descriptions, images, keywords) with precision
- Identify and correct catalog errors, especially in product variations
- Manage new item setup for large, high-volume product launches
SEO Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and implement listing optimizations for search performance
Order & Inventory Management (Seller Central)
- Manage FBA/FBM/AWD orders and inventory levels, provide customer support for FBM
- Resolve discrepancies, chargebacks, stranded inventory, compliance and shipping issues
Detail Page Best Practices
- Ensure all listings follow Amazon and Arena content guidelines for maximum impact
Process Improvement
- Proactively resolve catalog issues and recommend workflow enhancements
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work with internal teams using tools such as Asana, Airtable, and Microsoft Teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years managing Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central catalogs
- Experience creating Seller Central orders for FBA, FBM, AWD, processing FBM returns, and providing customer support
- Strong background in data entry, catalog maintenance, and variation troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of Amazon listing standards, SEO best practices, A+ content, and brand store creation
- Highly proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and Amazon tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience or interest in competitive swimming a plus
