About the RoleSalary $70,000 AUD OTE $85,000 + Super

As an After-Hours Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and travellers requiring urgent travel support. This includes new bookings, itinerary changes, and emergency assistance—all handled with efficiency, accuracy, and care.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring seamless travel experiences, even outside regular operating hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert assistance for customer enquiries via phone and email outside business hours
• Quote, issue, and reissue airfares, including complex fare recalculations
• Amend and manage bookings across air and land products (GDS platforms)
• Deliver emergency travel support and problem resolution
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policies and internal processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of service

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail travel sales and/or corporate travel management
• Strong working knowledge of Sabre GDS
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
