About the Role

The Customer Service Representative is a remote role responsible for supporting travel advisors and guests by managing existing reservations and providing service through inbound and outbound calls, email, chat, and other communication channels. This position ensures accurate and efficient handling of bookings while delivering professional and calm customer service. The role contributes to overall department goals by offering sales support during peak times and maintaining high service standards, playing an essential role in customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Process bookings, revisions, cancellations, and notes with accuracy using reservation systems
  • Apply company policies effectively to all reservations
  • Provide professional guest service across phone, email, and chat channels
  • Serve as the primary contact for service-related inquiries
  • Support revenue goals by offering upsell opportunities on existing bookings
  • Provide sales backup during high call volumes as directed
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products
  • Report problems and suggest resolutions to supervisors promptly
  • Assist guests and travel advisors with troubleshooting relevant systems

Requirements

  • Preferred experience in cruise, tour operations, or reservations but not required
  • Preferred customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professionalism and confidence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with effective task management skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Access to a hard-wired internet connection
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
