About the Role
The Customer Service Representative role serves as the primary contact for consumers seeking product, technical, or warranty support. This position is essential in delivering a world-class customer experience that reinforces brand reputation and customer loyalty. The role involves providing clear solutions, assisting with troubleshooting, and guiding customers through repairs or installations. It contributes directly to customer satisfaction and supports the organization’s commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver positive consumer experiences that enhance brand perception and loyalty
- Manage inbound calls to diagnose issues and provide comprehensive product and technical support
- Use technology to identify products and explain complex technical solutions clearly
- Negotiate resolutions in challenging situations to benefit both the consumer and the company
- Maintain professional communication across all customer interactions
- Meet daily performance metrics, including call quality and productivity standards
- Accurately document consumer information and specific troubleshooting steps
- Perform additional duties and special assignments as needed to support the team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college degree preferred or in progress)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a contact center or fast-paced customer service environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word); experience with Microsoft Teams preferred
- Ability to maintain focus in a low-mobility, high-observation work environment
- Positive attitude with strong flexibility and teamwork skills
- Must meet specific internet speed requirements and have a secure, quiet workspace
- Must pass background and drug tests and adhere to the department's Remote Work Policy
Compensation
- Base Salary: $37,000 USD per year ($17.79 per hour)
- Eligibility for annual bonus plans based on company and individual performance or role-based sales incentive plans.
