The Role

KORE Geosystems is hiring a Project Geologist to join our Projects team, with a focus on onboarding and supporting clients across Australia. This Perth, Western Australia (work from home) role combines practical geology knowledge with hands-on implementation and customer success. You’ll work directly with geology teams to deploy KORE’s software, train users, and ensure continued adoption and satisfaction.

As a subject matter expert in geology and geosciences, you’ll also collaborate closely with internal teams, including AI, Software, Product, Sales, and Marketing, to share field-driven insights that inform product development, improve training content, and support early-stage sales conversations through technical input and pilot support.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll play a key part in the successful rollout and long-term value delivery of the KORE platform at core facilities and operational sites.

RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer Success

  • Lead onboarding for new mining clients, including project setup, configuration, and training.
  • Ensure smooth go-live and transition clients into regular usage of the platform
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Understand clients' geological challenges, workflows, and goals to provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
  • Work with site teams to establish digital workflows for imaging, logging, and AI-assisted tools within the software.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and success reviews to ensure clients are meeting their goals
  • Monitor client usage and engagement, and proactively address adoption or workflow issues
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement

Sales

  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure technical alignment during early-stage conversations or pilot programs
  • Provide input on client needs and use cases to strengthen proposals, demos, and commercial strategies
  • Provide technical expertise and industry insights during sales meetings, demonstrations, and conferences.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, emphasizing the software's capabilities and how it aligns with clients' geological workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams including AI, Software, Product, and Marketing as the subject matter expert in geology and geosciences.
  • Share field-based insights to help shape product features, improve training materials, and ensure alignment with client-facing messaging and priorities.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clients are onboarded on time and using the system as intended
  • High engagement and satisfaction from geology teams
  • Regular usage of key features, including AI tools and integration workflows
  • Client issues are identified early and resolved quickly
  • Field insights are shared internally to support other teams
  • Sales is supported with technical input to strengthen pilots and client conversations

Qualifications

  • Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in core logging, mine geology, or exploration
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own client workload
  • Experience with platforms like acQuire, IMAGO, Leapfrog, or other digital geology tools
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
