This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior QA Manual Engineer in United Kingdom. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless user experience of large-scale social discovery and communication platforms used by millions worldwide. You will be responsible for validating complex web applications, marketing landing pages, and multi-channel communication systems across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging. Working in a fully remote, globally distributed environment, you will collaborate closely with development, product, and analytics teams to identify issues early and ensure stable product releases. The role combines deep functional testing expertise with strong analytical skills, particularly in investigating logs, APIs, and backend integrations. You will contribute directly to product stability, customer experience, and continuous improvement of testing processes. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact digital products used across multiple countries and cultures. Accountabilities

  • Perform manual functional and integration testing of web applications, internal systems, marketing landing pages, and multi-channel communication products.
  • Validate complex integrations with internal services and external systems, ensuring data consistency and end-to-end functionality.
  • Design, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects while working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using monitoring and debugging tools, supporting incident investigations when needed.
  • Test APIs and web traffic using tools such as Postman, curl, Charles, or Fiddler to validate request/response behavior.
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in manual functional and integration testing of web applications and complex digital systems.
  • Solid understanding of frontend and backend testing principles, including API behavior and system interactions.
  • Hands-on experience testing marketing landing pages and multi-channel communication workflows (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging).
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, and request/response structures.
  • Experience using API and debugging tools such as Postman, curl, Charles, or Fiddler.
  • Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using tools like Kibana or Loki.
  • Good SQL skills for querying data and validating database records.
  • Experience working with test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or TestIT.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Russian, written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
