Position Overview

We’re hiring a strategic, SEO-savvy Account Manager to take point on 10–15 e-commerce clients. You’ll own onboarding, manage monthly client meetings, and translate SEO insights into real, revenue-driving action items. You’ll work closely with our internal team of writers, developers, and designers, as well as collaborate with our clients' teams when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding: Lead new client onboarding using our structured intake process and questionnaire.
  • Monthly Client Meetings: Conduct 1x/month strategy meetings (Google Meet) to share updates, make recommendations, and maintain client trust.
  • SEO Audits & Strategy: Run audits on e-commerce sites and recommend improvements across site structure, keyword strategy, technical SEO, and CRO.
  • Content Review: Review SEO blog posts for alignment with brand tone, search intent, and conversion goals. Ensure our writers meet ranking standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with our internal devs, graphic designers, and writers to implement changes. You’ll also pass dev-related recommendations to the client’s team when needed.
  • Performance Tracking: Use tools like GA4, GSC, and Ahrefs (or similar) to monitor performance and communicate wins.
  • Funnel Awareness: Guide clients in optimizing their entire marketing funnel—from traffic to checkout—with smart SEO-backed UX decisions.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of SEO deliverables across multiple clients by setting deadlines, assigning tasks, and tracking progress using Notion and Google Sheets. Ensure all projects move forward on schedule and that internal team members are aligned and accountable.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on e-commerce SEO experience on Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
  • Strong grasp of on-page SEO, keyword strategy, content optimization, and technical audits
  • Familiarity with branding principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Confident leading client calls and presenting strategy
  • Experience writing or editing content that ranks on Google
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with writers, designers, and devs
  • Basic understanding of HTML, Schema implementation, and CRO tools (like Hotjar, Clarity, etc.)
