National Account Manager - Rigid Plastic Packaging

We are working in partnership with a Leading Rigid Plastic Packaging Company that services the Global Market.We are actively recruiting a highly driven and entrepreneurial National Account Manager with responsibility for the sales of Caps and Closures serving the US food and beverage market.The role can be based remotely, ideally within the Eastern US or Mid-West region.Responsibilities include:

• Ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities, whilst deepening existing customer relationships.
• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the company’s current products and services and new product lines and services as they are introduced.
• Provide support to the Sales Director and VP of Sales to target new customer opportunities.
• Support customer technical issues related to capping and ensuring that technical service levels meet customer market expectations.
• Ability to meet/ exceed sales goals.
• Obtain all relevant information needed to sell products through various sources and establish and maintain worldwide customer relationships.
• Ability to learn and expand knowledge across all product lines.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor Degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated proven record of accomplishment of successfully developing and executing sales strategies.
• History of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers that translated into improved financial success and market share growth.
• Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience. food and beverage industry experience preferred.
• Preferred background in caps & closures, filling equipment, cartons or rigid plastic blow molded/injection-molded containers.
• Open to travel across the US.
