This is a remote position.
DesignYourBasement is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to support our operations by accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining company data. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity and supporting internal teams with reliable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems with a high level of accuracy
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct as needed
- Organize and manage digital files and records efficiently
- Verify and cross-check information with source documents
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and customer information
- Generate basic reports and summaries when required
- Communicate with team members to clarify data discrepancies
- Follow company procedures and data management standards
- Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with administrative tasks related to data handling
Requirements* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) or Google Workspace
- Good typing speed and computer literacy
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic problem-solving abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
