Key Account Manager

  • This is a remote position, however must be located near an airport.
  • Ideal location Midwest / Southeast (Remote – ideally within driving distance to key customers or major airport)
  • 30–50% US travel required

We’re partnered with a global, market-leading manufacturer within the sustainable materials and packaging sector, currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join their Americas team.

This is a high-impact, commercially focused role managing strategic customer relationships across the packaging and materials value chain. The position offers strong long-term progression into senior commercial leadership roles, alongside a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus incentives, and full benefits.

Duties as a Key Account Manager:

  • Manage and develop key strategic accounts across North America
  • Drive revenue growth through both account development (farming) and new opportunity generation (hunting)
  • Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across complex, matrixed organizations
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, contracts, and rebate agreements
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer and business objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, product, and operations
  • Utilize CRM systems (Salesforce) and digital tools to track pipeline, performance, and opportunities
  • Travel regularly to customer sites (30–50%) across the US

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management within packaging, paper, printing, chemicals, or related materials industries
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in value-based selling and deal management
  • Track record of managing complex customer relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience operating within large, matrixed organizations
  • Strong negotiation, pricing, and contract management skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce) and digital sales tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Based within 90 minutes of a major airport (Midwest or Southeast preferred)
