We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring their IT-related issues are resolved efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude, as you will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries.
Duties
- Respond to user inquiries regarding computer hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide desktop support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to LAN connectivity and other network services.
- Utilize ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office applications and other software tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely updates on ticket status.
- Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Help Desk or Desktop Support role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Linux environments is a plus.
- Experience with customer service in a technical support context.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with users at all levels.
- Experience with LAN configurations and troubleshooting is beneficial.
