Inside Account Manager

  • Reports to: Sales Director, North America
  • Location: Remote – United States
  • Annual salary range: $70k-$100k (including bonus)
  • Full-time (with 2 months probationary period)

Job Overview:

The Inside Account Manager is responsible for directly supporting the North America Sales Team within assigned channels, ensuring sales growth, dotcom execution, consistent promotional stability, and operational excellence. This role will specifically support the management of the North American Offline Sales Channel. Focusing on tactical execution, day-to-day account operations, product setup, and order management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Execution & Business Delivery

  • Understand and implement the Company’s sales strategy within assigned accounts.
  • Translate strategic direction into actionable account plans and sales initiatives.

2. Sales & Account Management

  • Process and manage sales orders, manage customer data management systems, and help in the setup and execution of new products with key accounts in a team environment.
  • Handle post-sales support tasks such as following up on deliveries, addressing customer concerns, and facilitating issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with buyers, demand planners, and retail operations teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, order status updates, and basic issue resolution; escalate complex matters to the Director.
  • Execute promotions, inventory management, and pricing deployment in alignment with the Sales strategy.
  • Track the weekly competitive landscape within each assigned account.
  • Ensure all dotcom listings are accurate and optimal.

3. CPFR Management

  • Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and replenishment efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a forecast that accurately represents weekly run rate and promotional lift.

4. Process Execution & KPI Management

  • Execute company processes, governance standards, reporting cadence, CRM utilization, and KPI tracking requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement in operational execution quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Necessary Skills

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and to have a self-starter attitude.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
  • Close attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities

Qualifications / Job Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (Degrees in progress OK)
  • Has US work authorization, don't need sponsorship
  • 2+ years of work experience in retailer account and order management (consumer electronics experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Travel is required, as well as regular communication with co-workers across different time zones, including Asia.
  • Have network with major consumer electronics and appliances retailers (such as Home Depot, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Costco, Lowe's, etc. ) is a plus.
