About the Role:

We are seeking a Civil Designer to join our Digital Engineering team, assisting our clients through training, configuration, and consultation in the adoption of 12d Synergy within their organisation.

This includes collaborating with clients from SME’s to large enterprises, to understand their challenges and offer alternative processes and ways of working to automate and strengthen their business, whilst meeting and in many cases exceeding their needs.

We are seeking someone to complement our existing team with their Civil design and industry knowledge and capabilities and be open-minded and flexible in their approach to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training of new clients in 12d Synergy in person and online to ensure they are successfully onboarded and have productive software adoption.
• Project management of the implementation and onboarding process.
• Configuration of technical software/data sets in 12d Synergy; 12d Model, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.
• Optimise 12d Synergy’s configuration to suit the company's needs, ensuring a painless, faster, and flawless workflow.
• Own the implementation project for new customers and deliver in line with the customers’ milestones.
• Be a customer champion, ensuring their views are represented within the product roadmap through development advisory.
• Drive continual improvement in user satisfaction through regular training.
• Consultation of technical software for our support team as required.
• Participate in regular new logo/trial meetings.
• Assist with Customer Success programs.
• Working closely with clients to not only deliver to scope, but to consult, educate and present alternate methods of delivery for an outcome of increased efficiency.
• Provide technical support to customers online or in person.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in using common civil design and survey software tools used in ANZ. Expertise may include 12d Model, CAD & Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, MicroStation, Open Roads, LisCAD, Magnet, Trimble, and Leica software.
• A Bachelor of Engineering or Surveying equivalent is highly regarded.
• Experienced in defining and integrating Common Data Environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, 12d Synergy, Aconex, Teambinder (InEight Document).
• A sound understanding of industry standards and practices; BIM, experience with large multidisciplinary projects or tier 1 projects,
• Willingness to upskill with new industry standards, i.e. ISO 19650, BS1192, etc.
• Ability to diversify skills and knowledge to other software tools (i.e. 12d Model, MicroStation & any of the above they do not have skills in).
• Experience with 12d Model and/or 12d Synergy Non-essential but desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of the global AEC industry and software.

Personal Attributes

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in using any common civil design tools used in ANZ. Expertise may include Civil3D, AutoCAD, 12d Model, MicroStation, OpenRoads,
• Technical or associate degree in Drafting or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experienced in using Common Data Environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, 12d Synergy, Aconex, Teambinder (InEight Document).
• A sound understanding of industry standards and practices; BIM, experience with large multidisciplinary projects or tier 1 projects.
• Willingness to upskill with new industry standards, i.e. ISO 19650, BS1192, etc.
• Ability to diversify skills and knowledge to other software tools used in the Civil Design industry. 

Other point of note on the role:

• Occasional overnight/multisite stays away for work will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.
• A clean driving licence is essential
