Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Remote Customer Support Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to customers through email, live chat, and phone, helping resolve inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and can work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and other platforms.
- Resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate information about company products, services, and policies.
- Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, and account updates as required.
- Document all customer interactions accurately in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Follow company procedures and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and response-time goals.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve customer service processes.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, or support roles preferred but not always required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers, web-based applications, and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, or Freshdesk.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Strong typing and data entry skills.
