About The Role This role plays a key part in supporting both the New Business and Customer Care teams within Barbour EHS. You will be responsible for processing sales orders and responding to client enquiries received via email, ensuring queries are handled accurately and efficiently. You'll work regularly with Salesforce and a bespoke CRM system to track information, resolve issues and provide timely updates, collaborating closely with the technical help team where required. The role sits within a small, supportive team of three and reports directly to the Head of Administration. To succeed in this position, you'll need to be comfortable working across multiple systems, have a high level of attention to detail, and be able to manage your workload effectively while working independently and staying motivated. What You'll Be Getting Up To
- Review and validate order forms for new sales and renewals, ensuring all details are accurate and correctly recorded in Salesforce and on internal Excel sales boards.
- Complete supplier forms, payment portals and tender documentation, making sure company information is accurate, consistent and up to date.
- Act as a central point of support for the New Business and Customer Care teams, responding to process queries and helping resolve client‑related questions.
- Share in the success of the business by sending out sales and renewal announcements, celebrating wins across the wider division.
- Produce weekly revenue and KPI reports using Salesforce and Excel to support performance tracking and decision‑making.
- Proactively follow up with customers to obtain outstanding Purchase Orders, supporting credit control and Customer Care activity.
- Maintain high standards of data quality through regular checks, updates and database cleansing within Salesforce and other systems.
- Provide flexible support and cover for key tasks across the team to ensure business continuity.
- Carry out general administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the wider team.

- Have exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite especially Outlook, Teams and Excel (intermediate) and Adobe pdf editor.
- Have some Salesforce and other CRM experience although both systems are bespoke so ability to adapt.
- Be reliable and hardworking and use to meeting deadlines and helping others to do so too.
- Good communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter.
- You must be articulate and have excellent written skills.

- Salary: £25,900 per annum
- Location: Remote based
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9 - 5:30pm with a one hour unpaid lunch break.
