This is a well-funded Australian B2B SaaS scaleup on a genuine mission to transform how one of the country's largest and most traditional industries operates. They've recently raised significant growth capital, crossed a $100m valuation and are recognised as one of Australia's top tech companies to watch. Their platform replaces deeply entrenched manual processes with a single, modern solution and they're just getting started.
They're remote-first (and have been since before it was trendy), genuinely flat in structure and the kind of team where what you build actually matters. Radical transparency, high expectations and real ownership are part of the culture, not just words on a wall.
The Role
This is a newly created, senior individual contributor role. You'll be the company's first dedicated Product Marketing Manager which means you'll be building a lot from scratch, with strong support from leadership and close collaboration across product, design and sales.
This role sits in the revenue team, not the product team. That matters. Your success will be measured by pipeline, adoption and category momentum, not just how polished the assets look.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own positioning and messaging — develop a clear, sharp product narrative that resonates with customers and gives the sales team language that actually works
- Lead product and feature launches — take new releases to market monthly with strong positioning, crisp collateral and tight execution across the business
- Build out sales enablement — create battlecards, talk tracks, competitive intelligence and other tools that help sales have better conversations and close more deals
- Drive cross-functional alignment — work closely with product, design, sales and leadership to ensure launches land properly and the whole team is pulling in the same direction
- Move the growth needle — your work should translate directly into pipeline, product adoption and category growth. This is a revenue-contributing role
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in product marketing within a SaaS or tech business — you know what good PMM work looks like and have the output to show for it
- A strong, clear writer — you can take messy technical detail and real-world problems and turn them into messaging that's simple, sharp and useful
- A genuine point of view — you're not here to play it safe. You'll challenge conventional thinking and advocate for bolder, more effective positioning
- A builder's mentality — you ship, learn and iterate. You care about momentum and aren't waiting for perfect conditions
- Revenue team orientation — you understand that great marketing drives numbers, not just awareness and you're motivated to own that responsibility
- GTM experience — you've owned or co-owned product launches end-to-end and know how to bring a cross-functional team along with you
