Remote Plan Checker – Registered Building Inspector

Location: Fully Remote (UK Wide)

We are currently seeking Registered Building Inspectors to join a growing Building Control team in a full-time, fully remote Plan Checker role.

This is an excellent opportunity for Building Control professionals who enjoy plan assessment and technical compliance work, without the need for site inspections. You'll be working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, with the flexibility of remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications for compliance with Building Regulations.
• Assess Building Regulation applications across a variety of project types.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients, architects and developers.
• Produce clear, accurate and timely plan assessment reports.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and customer service.

Requirements

• Experience within Building Control and Building Regulations.
• Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A–2F+) preferred.
• Candidates actively working towards higher registration will also be considered.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
