What are we looking for?

The Technology team at Mobysoft is a diverse mix of people spanning Product, Engineering and Data. We operate in an open, collaborative and cross-functional environment, solving difficult problems for our customers. We empower teams and individuals to build, deliver and operate high quality technical solutions to help our Social Housing customers.

We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Senior Delivery Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery execution of a major multi-squad product initiative. This role combines strong programme management discipline with hands-on agile delivery experience, ensuring multiple squads stay aligned, unblocked and delivering consistently.

You will be working remote-first, reporting to the Chief Technology & Product Officer, with some expected travel to the Manchester office (reimbursed) to support collaboration and relationship-building.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will work across several squads and partner closely with Product, Engineering and Data leadership. You will run initiative-level ceremonies, drive clarity, manage stakeholders, surface risks early and maintain accurate reporting, all while supporting squads in improving their delivery flow and efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Planning & Execution

  • Lead initiative-level planning, sequencing and estimation sessions across multiple squads.
  • Coordinate and maintain the overarching delivery plan for the initiative.
  • Track initiative level progress, risks, dependencies and blockers, escalating where required.
  • Ensure cross-squad ceremonies and governance rhythms run smoothly (planning, reviews, retros, steering forums).
  • Drive pace and clarity across squads to keep the initiative on track.

Delivery Governance & Reporting

  • Own initiative-level RAID logs, dashboards and reporting.
  • Provide clear and concise updates to CTPO, DoE, DoP and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear, trusted visibility of delivery confidence, risks and progress.
  • Ensure delivery artefacts and documentation remain accurate and up to date.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as a central coordination point for the initiative across Product, Engineering, Data and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure decisions, priorities, scope changes and risks are communicated quickly and clearly.
  • Facilitate alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare and lead initiative-level reviews, showcases and steering sessions.

Problem Solving & Removal of Blockers

  • Identify and proactively resolve cross-squad blockers and resource constraints.
  • Drive collaboration between Product Managers, Product Owners, Lead Engineers and other delivery roles.
  • Ensure issues are escalated and resolved quickly, with clear ownership and follow-through

Continuous Improvement

  • Coach squads in pragmatic agile and lean practices (we are not looking for a purist).
  • Support improvements in estimation discipline, planning accuracy and delivery predictability.
  • Recommend and help implement practical, outcome focused changes across squads and the wider initiative.
  • Promote a culture of learning, accountability and iterative improvement.
  • Supported by Marketing, Commercial Director, Account Directors and various other roles across the Repairs team
  • Seeking out major clients and forming working relationships with the key executives at enterprise/strategic prospects
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
  • Forecasting to the Commercial Director on a weekly basis
  • Utilisation of the CRM (SF.com) system to drive new sales to conclusion, ensuring that all meaningful interaction and data is stored in the system
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
  • Maximising company profitability
  • Foreseeing and developing new sales strategies to drive increased value to the prospect and thus increase pricing
  • Forming sales strategies to keep your company competitive and innovative
  • Working with the implementation/pre-sales to deliver the Remote Data Tests
  • Constructing winning, viable, commercial offers/business case report for prospects
  • Working with marketing department to develop customer references/case studies and collating a body of client speakers & new business plan to unlock new prospects
  • Updating regular reports for Board presentations
  • Following the quality ethos set by Mobysoft and collaborating regularly with client service and technology teams

Qualifications and skillsEssential

  • Strong experience delivering complex, multi-squad initiatives in a product or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to run planning, sequencing, estimation, coordination and reporting across multiple squads.
  • Excellent facilitation, organisation and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, agile ways of working and continuous delivery concepts.
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively across Product, Engineering and Data to keep delivery moving.
  • Skilled at managing stakeholders at multiple levels, with clear and concise communication.
  • Able to understand technical concepts sufficiently to coordinate effectively across product, engineering and data roles.
  • Calm, structured work style with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable influencing without authority. and driving alignment.

Desirable

  • Experience in SaaS, data platforms or analytics products.
  • Experience using and configuring Jira and Confluence and Miro.
  • Experience in platform or multi-team delivery environments.
  • Exposure to programme or project management frameworks.
