MN2S is a leading international talent and label services agency, working with hundreds of independent labels and artists worldwide. Our Distribution team supports over 500 active labels, ensuring their music reaches audiences across major digital platforms while maximising visibility and revenue.

Role Overview

The Distribution Manager will oversee music delivery, DSP relationships, metadata compliance, and client support, while also driving promotional opportunities for our labels. You’ll be a trusted partner to clients and DSPs, ensuring flawless release execution while contributing fresh ideas and industry connections to enhance our promotional strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Release & Catalogue Management: Oversee deliveries for 500+ active labels, ensuring metadata and assets are accurate, complete, and fully compliant.
• Platform Expertise: Manage releases using FUGA daily, configuring exclusives, pre-orders, bundles, genres/sub-genres, remix tagging, identifiers, publishing information, and smart links across multiple DSPs.
• DSP & Promotion Liaison: Build strong relationships with DSP partners (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) to secure playlist placements, features, and banners while identifying new promotional opportunities.
• Client Relations: Act as the direct point of contact for labels (via email, phone, and video), covering releases, catalogue updates, royalties, portal support, and metadata queries.
• Onboarding: Guide new labels through the onboarding process, from single releases to large back-catalogue ingestions, providing training, support, and quality assurance.
• Industry Networking: Leverage personal industry connections to expand promotional opportunities and open new doors for MN2S clients.
• Fraud & Compliance Oversight: Monitor submissions for fraudulent, plagiarised, or AI-generated content. Ensure copyright adherence and alignment with evolving industry standards.
• Royalties: Oversee label and artist royalty statements, resolving client queries quickly and accurately.
• Client Assessment: Evaluate new client applications, manage test submissions, and ensure content quality prior to distribution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital music distribution, label services, or a related role.
• Deep knowledge of FUGA and strong familiarity with all major DSPs.
• Experience in playlist pitching and digital music promotion, with the ability to contribute strategic ideas.
• Established industry network and contacts with DSPs and key industry players.
• Strong understanding of metadata standards, copyright compliance, and music industry trends, including awareness of fraudulent and AI-generated content.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines across a large client base.
