Where will you be working? At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? A Streetworks Coordinator is required to join the Remote Supervision Team. The role ensures compliance with legislation through the review of Risk Assessments. The position supports the delivery of safe and lawful Streetworks activity. Risk Assessments submitted by suppliers will be reviewed for compliance with the Red Book and relevant legislation. Non-compliance will be identified, and feedback will be provided for correction. Records will be maintained to track compliance trends. Calls will be taken from operatives, and live audits will be carried out over the phone. High-risk issues will be escalated to regional teams. The role requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work with internal and external stakeholders is essential. Compliance with NRSWA, Codes of Practice, Health and Safety and environmental policies will be maintained at all times. This position offers the opportunity to work within a growing telecoms network. The work supports national fibre rollout and contributes to safe and compliant operations. What you’ll bring; Knowledge of Streetworks regulations will be important for success in this position. Experience with compliance processes and an understanding of the Red Book will support accurate reviews. Strong organisational skills will be needed to manage multiple tasks effectively. The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines will ensure smooth operations. Confidence in using Microsoft applications, especially Excel, will help maintain accurate records. Clear communication skills will be essential for working with suppliers and internal teams. Written and verbal communication will be used to provide feedback and resolve queries. A professional approach to customer service will support positive relationships. The role will require self-motivation and the ability to manage your own workload. A positive attitude will help in adapting to a dynamic team environment. Critical thinking will be important when assessing compliance and making decisions under pressure.
