Account Manager APAC - Must be in Australia or New Zealand
I am hiring on behalf of my client. Protopia is looking for an experienced Account Manager or Project Manager to support our customers, universities across the Asia-Pacific region, with our B2B software.
In this role you will onboard new clients, collaborate regularly with stakeholders, and support our customers operationally and through account management.
We're a remote-only, global team and thus you will work closely with our team across time zones. Work will be performed primarily AEST with occasional overlap to US EST timezone.
More importantly, this is a high-impact role where you will make a difference through meaningful work (support students!), learn a lot, and ideally be a long-term member (5+ years) of a growing team. We need someone who's looking for a permanent "home.”
- Lead onboarding, training and enablement for new customers.
- Develop meaningful relationships with customer champions and key stakeholders.
- Support customers and our team operationally.
- Drive customer adoption and engagement across a diverse customer base.
- Monitor customer health, identify risks early and proactively address concerns.
- Create and deliver customer education initiatives, webinars and scalable resources.
- Partner closely with the Protopia team to improve results.
- Gather feedback and advocate for customer needs internally.
- Continuously improve and help build processes as the company grows.
- You've worked in higher education (career services, alumni relations, advancement, student affairs, academic advising, anything adjacent)
- You're a clear, warm communicator (email is our whole product, so this matters a lot)
- You're organized enough to manage several partner relationships without dropping the ball
- You’re technically savvy, naturally curious, and comfortable with wearing multiple hats
- You want meaningful, flexible part-time work, not a foot-in-the-door for 60-hour weeks.
- 20 hours/week, flexible scheduling around school hours or whatever works for you
- Contract role, with room to grow as our APAC partnerships expand
- Contractor compensation: USD $2,500 - $3,000 / month
- Could expand to full-time when you and we are ready
