The role

Fix Auto UK currently have vacancy for a motivated Motor Engineer who is highly collaborative and enthusiastic, to join its Engineering Team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with extensive experience as a Motor Engineer, preferably gained working for an Insurance company.

What is Involved?

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with the review, assessment, and authorisation of Audatex reports across the Franchisee Repairer and Support Network. Working closely with the network to ensure the correct methods of repair and operations are fully supported. You will also assist the Audit and Compliance Team within the Engineering department, along with providing technical support to the Customer Service Team.

What do we need from you?

The successful candidates will hold City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Qualification (Part II or NVQ3) and be a Corporate member (or working towards membership) of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors.

You must also be a Vehicle Damage Assessor and hold IMI ATA VDA accreditation.

We are seeking individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills who are able to demonstrate a high level of personal and professional integrity.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be an excellent communicator, able to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.
  • Experienced and proficient in the use of Audatex, Escribe and Glass’s Guide systems.
  • Have experience of time management and task prioritisation in order to meet inflexible deadlines.
  • Possess experience of working independently
  • Work and operate well within a small professional team
  • Have a Full UK Driving License

Location: Remote – the position is home based in the UK with some travel required for Bodyshop Repairer reviews, meetings, and training.
