Role Description

This is a part-time remote position for an Appointment Setter within Extra Mile Fitness.

The Appointment Setter is responsible for initiating conversations with inbound leads, nurturing interest, qualifying prospects, and booking them into sales calls with the coaching team. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow structured DM frameworks, and a proactive approach to lead engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with new leads across social media platforms (primarily Instagram).
  • Following EMF’s DM frameworks to qualify leads, uncover goals, challenges, and readiness.
  • Booking qualified leads into consultation calls.
  • Managing follow-ups, reminders, and pipeline activity to maintain high booking and show-up rates.
  • Keeping accurate notes and CRM updates to support the sales process.
  • Maintaining EMF’s standard of professionalism, tone of voice, and client experience.

This role directly supports the sales team and plays a crucial part in the growth of the business.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability in appointment setting, DM engagement, or customer communication, ideally in a fitness coaching or service-based business.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain natural-sounding conversations.
  • Experience in lead generation, qualification, or similar client-facing tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a confident, friendly, and supportive tone.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable following scripts, frameworks, and KPIs while still keeping messaging personal and genuine.
  • Familiarity with the fitness, wellness, or coaching industry is a bonus
  • High accountability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
