Italian Customer Support Specialist (Digital Payments) | Remote (Portugal)This is a fully remote position available to candidates living anywhere in Continental Portugal. Location: Remote from Continental Portugal (Office is in Porto) Start Date:30 July 2026Employment Type: Full-time About The Role We are looking for an Italian-speaking Customer Support Specialist to join an international digital payments project. In this role, you will support Italian-speaking merchants, helping them with product-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across multiple communication channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Support merchants via phone, email, chat, and social media
  • Resolve product and service-related issues efficiently
  • Provide accurate information and guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in customer support processes

Requirements

  • Native / C2 Italian
  • English B2 or higher
  • Previous Customer Service or Contact Centre experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and digital tools
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal right to work in Portugal is mandatory

Working Schedule

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Monday to Sunday
  • Rotational shifts between 08:00 and 19:00 (may extend until 21:00 when required)
  • Rotational days off

Training

  • 30 working days
  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 17:00
  • Training allowance: approximately €660 net (subject to conditions)

Compensation & Benefits

  • €1,000 gross/month (14 salary payments)
  • Attendance Bonus: €50/month (12 payments)
  • Meal Allowance: €7.63/day
  • Private Health Insurance after contract signing
