At Crossing Hurdles, we work as a referral partner. We refer candidates to our client that collaborates with the world’s leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models.

Position: Customer Services AI Trainer (Talent Pool)

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30-$60/hr

Location: Remote

Duration: 10–40 hrs/week, flexible and asynchronous

Requirements: (Training support will be provided)

  • Proven experience in customer service roles
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail when reviewing customer interactions
  • Comfortable using digital tools and learning new platforms
  • Ability to translate customer needs and issues into structured AI training insights
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in AI training, data annotation, or quality review
  • Familiarity with customer service tools or CRM platforms
  • Background in language analysis, linguistics, or related fields

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop realistic training data and scenarios for AI-powered customer service systems
  • Review, evaluate, and annotate customer interactions to improve AI accuracy and response quality
  • Train AI models on empathetic, human-like responses for complex or high-conflict situations
  • Apply conflict resolution expertise to guide AI behavior in sensitive customer interactions
  • Conduct regular audits of AI-generated conversations to ensure quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify gaps and optimize AI learning outcomes
  • Stay updated on customer service and AI trends, applying best practices to training workflows
  • Provide actionable feedback and improvement suggestions based on customer interaction insights
