The Opportunity
We are hiring a full-time Senior Sales Account Executive to join our business development team to drive revenue growth. This is a hands-on, closing-focused role where you will own the sales process end-to-end, help formalize the go-to-market motion, and play a critical role in scaling early traction into repeatable revenue. The successful candidate will start as an individual contributor with significant room for growth. This role emphasizes a land-and-expand strategy, and long-term account development—hunting for new opportunities while farming existing customers for expansion.
What You’ll Do
- Own the entire sales lifecycle: prospecting → discovery → demos → paid pilots (on an as needed basis) → negotiation → close
- Build, manage, and forecast pipeline in a CRM
- Build and manage customer relationships
- Execute a land-and-expand motion:
- Hunt for qualified prospects and close deals
- Conduct meetings primarily virtually, with in-person meetings when necessary
- Collaborate closely with founders and internal stakeholders to refine:
- ICP and buyer personas
- Messaging, pricing, packaging, and objection handling
- Provide clear updates on pipeline health, deal risks, and close plans
- Lead QBRs
What Success Looks Like (Year 1)
- Quota: $750k – $1.25M in new ARR
- Full ownership of the sales process from first touch through expansion
- Robust pipeline generation, close new business, and grow existing accounts
- Establishment of a repeatable deal playbook
Who You AreRequired
- Proven experience running a full-cycle sales process with minimal support
- Strong pipeline management skills with disciplined, consistent CRM usage
- Proven ability to sell technical, consultative solutions to multiple stakeholders
- Established track record and industry relationships in one or more target verticals (e.g., financial services, insurance, banking, consulting, utilities, telecom, ports, airports, municipal and state entities, etc.)
- Familiarity with climate, resilience, risk analytics, or data platforms
- Clear, confident communicator with executive presence and strong presentation skills
- Comfortable operating as both an individual contributor and a people manager
Preferred
- Experience scaling sales processes, operations, and teams
- Experience selling into risk-sensitive or regulated environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180,000 – $250,000
- Potential for a meaningful stock option grant
