We’re Birdi—a growing startup making geospatial data easier, smarter, and more actionable for industries like mining, utilities, environmental, construction, and beyond. Our platform helps businesses turn location-based data into real insights to improve decision-making. We’re a small, fully remote team and we’re looking for an Account Executive who’s eager to roll up their sleeves and help us continue to grow.
If you love talking to people, solving problems, and closing deals, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll do
- Engage and qualify leads: When someone reaches out to book in a demo, you’re quick to respond via phone and email. You’ll figure out if we’re a good fit and start building trust right away.
- Guide leads through the process: From qualifying leads to scheduling demos and nurturing relationships, you’ll follow Birdi’s sales process to help prospects move through the journey.
- Champion Birdi’s solutions: Show prospects how our platform solves their pain points and makes their lives easier.
- Tackle objections with confidence: Answer the tough questions, ease hesitations, and keep the momentum going.
- Stay on top of your game: Use HubSpot CRM to manage your pipeline, follow up, and make sure no opportunity falls through the cracks.
- Collaborate and grow: Work closely with our small and capable team to sharpen your skills and refine our sales process.
- Get in front of prospects: Identify and attend relevant events, conferences, and opportunities to build visibility and connect with potential customers.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an AE who’s excited to grow with us. Someone who:
- Is approachable, a great communicator, and eager to connect with people.
- Thrives on challenges and is ready to go after deals with determination.
- Has a knack for listening to customer needs, identifying pain points, and being able to craft solutions that align with the platform on the fly.
- Has sales experience (5+ years), and ideally multiple years in SaaS sales. Bonus points if you’ve worked to open up new markets - either industries or geographical.
- Is curious, open to feedback, and eager to do the grunt work to close deals.
