Hi there, David, Thea and Kirsty from 99content here.

We run Australia's leading social media and blog content service for mortgage brokers.

We’re after a reliable assistant to meet (online) with brokers who are interested in using our social media post and blog service (ideal start date: Jan 5th or 12th, 2026)

We get regular enquiries and referrals. So we need someone who can help get our leads over the line by giving friendly, upbeat online demonstrations of our service, and if the broker is interested, help them get all set up.

Don't worry, we're not into hardcore "selling". 

We actually prefer to only work with brokers who would be a good fit for our service, so rather than going in with the hard sell, your role will be more about being personable, getting to know the broker and what they're after.

And of course building good rapport with them so you feel comfortable following them up with a phone call or two.

We're looking for someone Australia-based to help us:

  • Meet with and vet leads (aka do a bit of internet snooping) to make sure they're a good fit for our business.
  • If they're a good match, follow them up via email and phone.
  • Find out which of our three services they're interested in, and then get the ball rolling on pitching to them.
  • Who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and call warm leads (very important in this role).
  • Design templates for new clients on Canva.
  • Connect the new clients’ social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business) and websites to our service.
  • Maintain our internal client account records/notes so we know who is handling what and when.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Learns quickly.
  • Is punctual and reliable (work from home).
  • Is handy with designing social media templates on Canva.
  • Has the initiative and confidence to reach out to warm leads via phone.
  • Can work 3-4 hours a day, 3-4 days a week (up to 12-15 hours per week total).
  • Can manage multiple tasks and prospective clients.
  • Is a good communicator and is highly responsive (during work hours).
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Works well with others. We have a team of six VAs who you’d be working with.
  • And potentially, has run social media campaigns for another business before.

What we can offer:

  • Flexible hours, all remote working.
  • Excellent training. You will essentially be job-sharing with Kirsty, who has been working with us for the past 2 years and will show you all the ins and outs of the role.
  • Experience working in a well-respected marketing business. Google ‘99content’ to see our reviews and what our clients think about us :) We've also been a finalist for the past two years for the MFAA awards for Best Support Service for mortgage brokers.
  • An easy-to-sell product. We offer a free 2-month trial and all leads will be warm. We've got a great reputation in the industry and offer a service mortgage brokers want (they come to us, not the other way around).
  • Responsiveness and general guidance, without micro-managing (we work with a team of six VAs, most of whom we've worked with for many years, so we get the balance right).
  • $35 per hour.
  • A $25 bonus for each sale you or Kirsty make (we aim for 10 sales per month).
  • The opportunity to make this an ongoing arrangement that can expand around your strengths.

Please note that this role will initially start as a six-month trial with you as a paid contractor (virtual admin freelancer). But ideally, we are looking for someone to work with over the long term.
