Have you searched the website to find what you're looking for? You can probably find the answer to your question more quickly than waiting for a reply. Some of our most common questions involve:
- A reservation is required to drive into or through Yosemite through October 27, 2024, on weekends and holidays during peak hours (5 am – 3 pm). If you have a campground, lodging, or vacation rental reservation for inside the park, then you do not need an additional entrance reservation.
- Camping (if you can't find a campground reservation, find out how to search for cancellations or information about camping without a reservation).
- Can't find reservations for camping or lodging.
- Wilderness permits and backpacking.
- General hiking information and Half Dome permits.
- Tire chains.
- How to get to/from Yosemite when Tioga Road (Highway 120) is closed.
- When will Tioga Road (continuation of Highway 120 through the park) open or close for the season?.
