Celebrating 10 Years of Service
Textron Aviation is proudly celebrating a decade of service at its European Distribution Center (EUDC) located in DĂźsseldorf, Germany. This key facility serves customers across Europe and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, and has rapidly become the companyâs second-largest parts distribution center. Since its inception, the EUDC has been responsible for handling more than 50% of orders for these regions.
Expanding Operations
The 21,500-sq-ft (2,000-sq-m) facility is stocked with over 20,000 SKUs, ensuring that customers benefit from same-day shipments and reduced aircraft downtime. As the center continues to grow, the shipment volume has consistently increased year over year.
âSince opening, our European Distribution Center has doubled in size, added a customer support parts and warranty team, and quadrupled inventory value to continue providing unrivaled support in the region,â said Brad White, Global Parts Distribution Senior Vice President.
Commitment to Customer Support
Recently, the EUDC has increased its stock keeping units (SKUs) by 40%, which supports less downtime for customers and reinforces Textron Aviation's commitment to delivering robust services in the aviation industry. The center provides factory-direct support, maintenance, and modifications for Beechcraft, Cessna, and Hawker aircraft.
Looking Ahead
In 2024, the EUDC will unveil a state-of-the-art training center. With more than 150,000 unique part numbers in stock and a dedicated team of over 600 professionals, Textron Aviationâs global network is capable of delivering parts to over 115 countries worldwide.
âThe growth we have implemented at EUDC is based on customer feedback and our commitment to design and deliver the best aviation experience for our global customer base,â White emphasized. âThe EUDC team is passionate about supporting Textron Aviation Partsâ global customer base and providing them with 24/7 support, ensuring our customers keep their aircraft flying with minimal downtime.â
