Rosenbauer's Service Network Expansion
Rosenbauer is consistently expanding its service network with the opening of its new large-scale site in Luckenwalde, which now represents the largest Customer Center in the entire Group.
State-of-the-Art Facility Operations
Operational since April 2025, the workshop spans approximately 6,500 m² – nearly the size of a soccer field – providing ample space for diverse equipment and vehicles. This includes:
- Turntable ladders
- Municipal firefighting vehicles
- PANTHER models
- Water cannons
- Zero-emission RT and PANTHER electric vehicles
Additionally, a new mobile field service equipped with state-of-the-art service buses is enhancing regional customer support.
Leadership Perspectives on Strategic Growth
Frank Höbold, Head of Service Germany
Frank Höbold emphasized: "With the expansion of our service site in Luckenwalde, we are clearly demonstrating our focus on customers and future viability. The site is set to become a central hub for maintenance, servicing, and refurbishment, making it an important pillar of our global service strategy. We are making targeted investments in expertise and infrastructure to ensure maximum operational readiness and availability throughout the entire life cycle of our products."
David Windhager, Head of Global Customer Service
David Windhager added: "Customer service is a strategically important business area for Rosenbauer. We consistently invest in infrastructure, staff, and digital processes with the aim of aligning our services even more closely with the needs of our customers and further improving our response time. Efficient and reliable customer service is the key to long-lasting, cooperative customer relationships."
Investment in Additional Capacity
Beyond Luckenwalde, Rosenbauer Deutschland operates three other service sites in Bad Abbach, Karlsruhe, and Viersen. By 2030, service capacity is projected to increase from 80 to 115 workshop spaces, driven by strong market growth. In Germany alone, Rosenbauer anticipates approximately 9,300 vehicles in use by 2030 – a more than 30 percent increase compared to 2025. The company also expects growing demand and revenue increases in the service segment.
Comprehensive Customer Service Portfolio
Rosenbauer's customer service offerings are extensive, covering:
- Servicing and maintenance of small equipment to large vehicle repairs
- Accident repairs and fault diagnoses
- Vehicle and equipment rental
- Fleet management
- Training courses
- Sales of used vehicles
There is growing demand for Rosenbauer's refurbishment program, which restores old vehicles and equipment to mint condition and updates them to the latest technological standards. This initiative supports sustainability and the circular economy under the motto "upgrading instead of buying new."
Global Service Network
Rosenbauer maintains 35 in-house service locations across 19 countries worldwide, supported by a team of around 700 service staff. This network is complemented by over 70 independent, quality-tested service partners, ensuring comprehensive global coverage.
