Southeast Bank PLC recently organized an exclusive workshop titled "Empowering Women Entrepreneurs of the Bank through Strengthening the Customer Service" at the bank's Training Institute, signaling a strong commitment to inclusive growth.

The workshop was graced with insightful direction from Southeast Bank PLC Chairman MA Kashem. In his address, he emphasized that more women-centric banking services must be strengthened to bring the maximum number of women under banking coverage, enabling them to establish themselves as self-reliant members of society.

During the session, distinguished members of the Board of Directors — Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engr Khandker Badrul Hassan, Nur Nahar Tarin, and Md Rafiqul Islam, nominee of Asia Insurance PLC — along with Sponsor Shareholder Sultana Kashem, shared their valuable insights and strategic suggestions for strengthening the bank's customer service.

Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, delivered the introductory speech on the bank's Empowering Women Entrepreneurship Policy.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Sayma Banu, Head of the Training Institute, to the Board of Directors.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director and COO of Southeast Bank PLC.

The programme was also attended by Md Mahbub Alam, Additional Managing Director and CRO; Mohammed Rashedul Amin, Deputy Managing Director; and Sekander E-Azam, Deputy Managing Director of the bank.

A total of 70 executives and officials from the head office and different branches were present at the workshop, reflecting the bank's dedication to building a customer-centric culture.
