The Welcome Committee of AUS: Guest Services 2025 Recap
If you've ever had a question about where your gate was located or how to get to the rental car facility, chances are you were one of the over 780,000 passengers in 2025 who walked up to one of the many smiling faces of our Guest Services team to ask. That's a lot of questions answered! But beyond being a more personable and friendly resource for all things AUS, the Guest Services team also put together many events and activities for travelers to make their flying experience at AUS a delightful one.
Events That Made Travel More Enjoyable
In 2025, the Guest Services team hosted 12 events where over 4,000 passengers had a chance to make envelopes for Lunar New Year, cards and crafts for Mother's Day and Father's Day, and wrap gifts before they flew out for the holidays. These events were a hit for travelers, so there will be plenty more this year!
Volunteer Ambassador Program
Our Guest Services team also coordinates the Volunteer Ambassador program, an organization that provides exceptional customer service to airport passengers and visitors by offering assistance to customers in need of guidance or information. In 2025, 2,773 volunteer hours were logged, helping out an additional 72,685 visitors to the airport.
