Duncan Utilities Customer Service Adds Emergency Option
In response to the ongoing government shutdown, the City of Duncan’s Utilities Customer Service has introduced a new service option to help keep utilities connected for residents.
Key Changes and Support Available
The director of Duncan Utilities announced that customers, who typically have four extensions per year, will now receive a fifth extension due to the potential pause in SNAP benefits. This move aims to prevent service disconnections during this challenging period.
Additionally, the Duncan City Manager highlighted that the city can connect residents with local help organizations to assist with bill payments, ensuring community members have access to necessary resources.
