Main Street Bank Expands to Belmont County with a Focus on Community
Main Street Bank has officially opened its first location in Belmont County at 107 Plaza Drive, Suite A, in St. Clairsville. This new branch is set to offer a comprehensive range of consumer and commercial banking products, including online and mobile banking options designed to meet customer needs.
Branch Hours and Services
The office will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. It aims to provide personalized attention and competitive pricing, emphasizing local decision-making for small to mid-size businesses.

Leadership Insights
Mark Witmer, chairman, president, and CEO, expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, "We are here to serve communities with a higher level of service than other banks." He highlighted that St. Clairsville fits their model perfectly for serving small to medium-sized towns.
Matt Porter, the market development manager, focuses on building lasting relationships and developing personalized financial solutions. Despite being new to banking, he emphasizes the importance of trust and community engagement in an increasingly digital world.
Growth and Community Impact
This new branch is Main Street Bank's 20th location, part of their strategy to grow in areas like Belmont County. Donnie Sheller, Vice President and COO, noted that many existing customers from Belmont County will find it more convenient to bank locally now.
Lisa Kindler from the St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed the branch, underscoring its potential to enhance local economic development through full-service banking and top market rates.
