Summary:

  • Delta Air Lines named #1 in customer service for 2025 by J.D. Power

  • Operates extensively from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP)

  • Offers nonstop service to 119 global destinations, including Asia

  • Scored 717 out of 1,000 points in Premium Economy category

  • Also serves travelers from Rochester International Airport

Great news for Minnesota travelers — Delta Air Lines has been crowned the best in the U.S. for customer service in 2025, according to the J.D. Power survey. This marks a significant win for the airline, which operates extensively from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), its second-largest hub in the U.S.

Why Delta Stands Out

Delta's friendly crews and stress-free flights have once again turned heads across the country. The airline topped the J.D. Power 2025 survey for North America Airline Satisfaction in the Premium Economy category, a title it has held for three consecutive years.

Delta's Minnesota Connection

With nearly 330 departures from MSP to 119 global destinations, Delta is a cornerstone of Minnesota's air travel. It offers nonstop service to international hotspots like Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Tokyo-Haneda, and is the only carrier at MSP providing nonstop service to Asia.

The Survey Says...

J.D. Power surveyed over 9,500 air travelers across eight categories, including aircraft, baggage, and flight crew. Delta scored 717 out of 1,000 points in the Premium Economy class, leading the pack ahead of JetBlue and Alaska Airlines.

Beyond MSP

Travelers don't have to head to MSP to experience Delta's top-rated service. The airline also offers flights from Rochester International Airport, connecting Minnesota's Med City to Chicago and beyond.

Delta's merger with Minneapolis-based Northwest Airlines in 2008 solidified its roots in Minnesota, making it a homegrown favorite for many.
