Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) has announced that all services and offices will be suspended and closed on Thursday, December 25, due to the Christmas holiday. This impacts various transportation options in Savannah, Georgia.
Services Affected
- All Fixed-Route Buses will not operate.
- Mobility services for paratransit will be suspended.
- Savannah Belles Ferry services will be halted.
Customer Service Closures
The customer service call center and ticket window at 610 West Oglethorpe Avenue will be closed, with no representatives available to provide schedule information during this time.
Reservation Information
While the CAT Mobility office is closed on December 25, customers can leave a message at (912) 351-5266 to schedule reservations for Friday, December 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Online appointment scheduling is also available.
Important deadline: All paratransit reservations, including online bookings for December 26, must be made by Wednesday, December 24, at 4 p.m.
Resumption of Services
- Fixed-Route Buses, Mobility Services, Ferry Services, and Customer Services will resume regular operations on Friday, December 26.
- Administrative offices will be closed on both Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, returning to normal operations on Friday, December 26.
