About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding relationships with key enterprise clients of Zepto. Your experience will enable you to demonstrate a unique blend of strategic thinking, client relationship management, and business acumen to drive Zepto’s success and achieve revenue targets. You'll also serve as the primary liaison between our company and our enterprise clients, ensuring their needs are understood, their expectations are met, and their businesses thrive through our solutions and services.

This role sits within our mighty Commercial team, who are focused on being the leader in account-to-account payments and growing our market share by showcasing how there is a better way to pay with Zepto. Our passion is focused on nurturing relationships with our customers, to ensure positive customer interactions through the delivery of a world class end-to-end merchant experience.

The Role You’ll Play:

Working in a scale-up, means you get the opportunity to flex your skills in a variety of ways. We are agile and always willing to roll up our sleeves to get things done. You can, however, expect your day to day to be involved in the following:

Strategic Account Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for assigned enterprise clients, outlining strategic objectives, growth opportunities, and action plans.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance, identify challenges, and uncover areas for expansion and improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align strategies and initiatives with client needs and business goals.

Client Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within each enterprise account.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to our clients, providing insights, guidance, and solutions to address their business challenges and achieve their objectives.
  • Proactively engage with clients through regular communication, meetings, and strategic discussions to ensure ongoing alignment and satisfaction.

Revenue Growth and Expansion:

  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewal discussions, ensuring terms are favourable and mutually beneficial for both parties.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute account-specific sales strategies and initiatives aimed at achieving revenue targets and business objectives.

Customer Advocacy and Engagement:

  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their needs, priorities, and feedback to inform product development, service enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Showcase customer success stories, testimonials, and case studies to demonstrate the value of our solutions and services and foster client advocacy.
  • Drive proactive engagement and communication with clients, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations to drive mutual success.

Issue Resolution and Customer Satisfaction:

  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and effective manner, working closely with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution and satisfactory outcomes.
  • Implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues and enhance overall client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct post-resolution follow-ups and service reviews to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

About you:

Our team is built on helping each other out, while providing practical solutions and advice to our merchants in a consultative manner. In addition, you’ll also bring to the table:

  • Proven track record of success in enterprise account management, strategic sales, or related roles, with a focus on building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, contract negotiations, and account planning strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving customer success and business growth.
  • Experience in the Payments industry is a strong preference.
