Role Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Social Media Manager to own and execute Young Goose’s social media presence across key platforms. This role is equal parts creative, strategic, and analytical. You will be responsible for content planning, publishing, community engagement, and performance optimization, while working closely with internal teams, creators, and partners.

This is not a trend-chasing role. We are looking for someone who understands how to communicate complex science in a clear, compelling, and elevated way, while maintaining a warm, human brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and manage a cohesive social media strategy aligned with brand, product launches, and campaigns
  • Create monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
  • Translate scientific concepts into engaging, educational, and digestible content
  • Balance educational, brand, product, founder-led, UGC, and lifestyle content

Content Creation & Execution

  • Write captions that are clear, compelling, and on-brand
  • Collaborate with creators, founders, clinicians, and internal team members to source content
  • Brief editors and designers when needed, or handle light editing yourself
  • Ensure visual and tonal consistency across all platforms

Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments and DMs with care, accuracy, and empathy
  • Flag customer service issues and collaborate with the support team when needed
  • Build genuine relationships with the audience and brand advocates

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track performance metrics and report on growth, engagement, and conversions
  • Use insights to refine content strategy and improve results
  • Stay informed on platform updates and algorithm changes

Collaboration & Campaign Support

  • Work closely with marketing, partnerships, customer service, and operations teams
  • Support product launches, events, collaborations, and promotions
  • Coordinate with affiliates and influencers when relevant

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in skincare, wellness, or health
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok content strategy
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex topics simply and accurately
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed
  • Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional teams

Preferred

  • Experience with science-based, clinical, or longevity-focused brands
  • Familiarity with skincare ingredients, aesthetics, or biohacking concepts
  • Experience working with influencers or affiliates
  • Basic understanding of analytics and reporting tools
