Italian Speaking Technical Support Advisor – Remote (Portugal)

Join a leading global customer experience company as an Italian Speaking Technical Support Advisor and work fully remote from anywhere in Portugal. You’ll support customers of well-known domestic appliance brands, acting as the first point of contact via phone and email. Your role will be key to delivering exceptional after-sales support and ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience through proactive problem-solving and clear communication.

This is an excellent opportunity to work from home while developing your technical and interpersonal skills within a dedicated, international support team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers after their purchase of home appliances via phone and email.
  • Conduct initial diagnostics of issues using over 60 internal procedures.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Proactively improve customer satisfaction using additional resources such as video tutorials and support articles.
  • Communicate clearly regarding product information, order tracking, and minor repair coordination.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Use three internal software systems to manage and document support cases.
  • Apply cross-selling techniques where appropriate, identifying opportunities for complementary solutions or upgrades.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Italian (C1) and English (B2).
  • Previous experience in technical support, customer service, or call center environments preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues confidently and explain solutions simply.
  • Proficiency in using multiple software tools simultaneously.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change.
  • Cross-selling or upselling experience is an advantage.
  • Eligible to work in Portugal.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits:
  • €1,000 x 14 base salary + €100 monthly performance bonus.
  • Meal allowance of €7.23/day.
  • Accommodation in Lisbon for candidates relocating from outside Portugal (12 months at €280/month, deducted from salary).
  • Flight reimbursement up to €400 at the 6th month of work.
  • Health insurance from day one (small employee contribution, free after 6 months).
