We partner closely with our clients—often on a retainer basis—to act as an extension of their RevOps function and trusted advisor to revenue leadership.

Role Description

SaaScend is seeking a full-time, fully remote Head of Consulting to own and scale the delivery of our retainer-based client engagements. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes across long-term client relationships while building a repeatable consulting motion that drives retention, expansion, and client advocacy.

As Head of Consulting, you will lead a team of consultants delivering ongoing Revenue Operations services across sales, marketing, and customer success. You will act as the senior escalation point for retainer clients, guide strategic roadmap development, and ensure that SaaScend is delivering against agreed outcomes—not just tasks.

This role blends client leadership, team management, and operational rigor, with a strong focus on building durable partnerships with RevOps, CROs, CMOs, and revenue leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Retainer Client Leadership

  • Own the success of SaaScend’s retainer clients, ensuring value realization, retention, and expansion.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to client executives (RevOps, Sales, Marketing, and CS leadership).
  • Oversee quarterly and annual roadmap planning for retainer accounts, aligned to business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen engagements through expanded scope, new initiatives, or additional services.

Consulting Delivery & Quality

  • Set standards for delivery excellence across all retainer engagements.
  • Ensure consistent execution across Salesforce, HubSpot, marketing automation, data, and RevOps processes.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex delivery challenges or cross-functional dependencies.
  • Balance strategic guidance with pragmatic execution to ensure clients see ongoing progress.

Team Leadership & Enablement

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Lead Consultants and Support Consultants working on retainer accounts.
  • Ensure clear role definition, accountability, and capacity planning across ongoing engagements.
  • Build repeatable delivery frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for retainer work.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to ensure smooth handoffs from closed deals into delivery.

Operational & Business Alignment

  • Partner with SaaScend leadership to refine the retainer engagement model, pricing, and packaging.
  • Track and report on client health, delivery metrics, utilization, and outcomes.
  • Drive operational efficiency without compromising client experience or strategic depth.
  • Contribute to the evolution of SaaScend’s RevOps point of view and consulting methodology.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in Revenue Operations, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, and related GTM technologies.
  • Proven experience leading long-term, retainer-based consulting or managed services engagements.
  • Strong background in sales, marketing, and customer success operations, including pipeline strategy and process design.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders in B2B SaaS organizations.
  • Experience managing and developing consulting teams in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable, outcome-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Salesforce or marketing automation certifications are a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or RevOps consulting environment is highly preferred.
