A globally renowned events and communications agency, who partner with clients in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods, with talented events and marketing professionals.

They provide a full suite of communications solutions from creative assets and branded programs to exhibitions, leadership meetings and both analog and digital communication platforms.

Purpose

As their new Communications Manager or Communications and Engagement Manger you will work collaboratively within their client-facing team on internal (and occasionally) external communications projects.

This role will oversee communications work from strategic development to production, to launch and to metrics review. Marketing and copywriting skills are required for this position.

  • Focusing on larger campaigns and supporting change management you will be an experience communication lead who can has deep internal communications expertise.
  • Ideally you will have worked in large, complex organizations delivering impactful programmes to multi-country, multi-stakeholder audiences.
  • Comfortable working with senior management and able to create narrative that resonates at all levels of a business.
  • Able to navigate cultural, political and practical challenges and be able to demonstrate a portfolio of campaigns you have curated and executed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content and manage creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message
  • Build and maintain solid partnerships with assigned internal clients to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals
  • Design campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs
  • Liaise with internal studio teams such as; graphic design, presentation design, digital, copy, video production and video post-production to manage asset creation from brief, creative to execution
  • Contribute ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative techniques to ensure that campaigns are creative and engagement preference driven
  • Research and understand key business challenges, customer behaviour, target audiences, competitive activity, and environmental factors that impact programs within the business and assigned departments
  • Provide hands-on marketing support for assigned project teams
  • Identify and present opportunities for consistency in messaging and customer experience across communications channels
  • Identify and drive opportunities for digital marketing campaigns

Requirements and Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (oral and written)
  • Strong, versatile copywriting skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience with all types of social media (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with internal communications platforms (e.g. Yammer, Sharepoint, MSTeams)
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including; SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms including; Cvent, SpotMe and Power Virtual Agents (desirable)
  • BA/BSc in Marketing, Communications or similar (desirable)
