What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide exceptional patient service in person and via the Call Center
- Interview patients to obtain accurate demographic, financial, and insurance information
- Verify insurance and collect copays, co-insurance, and outstanding balances
- Schedule future appointments and manage patient communication through various channels
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient experience
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Minimum 2-5 years of healthcare insurance experience; vision plan experience is a plus
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to collect payments accurately
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional appearance
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Familiarity with Medicare basics
