About the Opportunity
The Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in shaping the client experience during the first 30 to 90 days. This position serves as the primary point of contact for new clients, providing personalized training, proactive guidance, and ongoing support to ensure successful platform adoption. The role directly contributes to client satisfaction and retention by helping customers understand the platform, overcome challenges, and realize value early in their relationship with the organization.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients throughout the onboarding process.
• Guide clients through onboarding activities during their first 30 to 90 days.
• Conduct virtual one-on-one training sessions tailored to individual client needs and business workflows.
• Identify client requirements, goals, and potential implementation challenges.
• Provide proactive recommendations and solutions to address onboarding issues.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through responsive and personalized communication.
• Monitor client progress and encourage effective adoption of platform features and workflows.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records across applicable systems and platforms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address client needs and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing SaaS role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM or customer success platforms such as Salesforce, ChurnZero, Gainsight, or HubSpot is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Knowledge of the green industry, including landscaping, arboriculture, or field services, is an asset.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
