2. About the Opportunity:
The Sr. Customer Service Representative - Billing (Bilingual - English/Spanish) role involves providing compassionate and clear support to members regarding their healthcare billing inquiries. This position plays a crucial role in helping members understand their health plans and access appropriate care by resolving escalated issues over the phone. The role demands effective communication to handle diverse personalities and complex situations, directly contributing to member satisfaction and improved health outcomes.
3. Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and resolution for escalated billing issues to 50 to 70 callers daily
• Support members in understanding their healthcare plans and billing details
• Deliver empathetic and clear communication to resolve complex healthcare concerns
• Work assigned shifts within business hours, including potential occasional overtime
• Complete mandatory training programs, including virtual instructor-led and on-the-job training
• Adapt to one of four assigned shifts based on business needs after training
4. Requirements:
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with 9-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM ET
• Commitment to complete approximately six weeks of virtual training and 90 days of on-the-job training
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Capacity to handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism on calls
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay range starts at $17.20 per hour
• Salary offers depend on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications
• Candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation
