About Raccoon London

Raccoon London is a boutique London photography and videography agency with an international network of creatives in more than 30 countries.

www.raccoonlondon.com

We deliver event, conference, brand activation, hospitality, portrait and lifestyle content for brands and agencies including Shell, Disney, Microsoft, Adidas and American Express. Clients get one point of contact; we manage the creatives, logistics, production and delivery across cities and countries.

We are a small, senior team that works closely and supports each other. That culture matters to us as much as experience.

The role

You will own client accounts and projects from first enquiry to final delivery, working closely with our Executive Producer and Senior Account Manager.

We are a small team with a relatively flat structure. You will quickly be running and managing your own clients. Most of your day is spent liaising with clients and creatives, establishing the brief, writing quotes and managing the job through, with many open jobs and pitches on the go at once.

Video briefs are a significant part of the work: scoping, costing, crew coordination and asset delivery.

This role is operational rather than glamorous. We want someone who enjoys organisation, scheduling and detail, and takes pride in complex projects running smoothly.

This is not a sales role. There are no individual sales targets or commission; bonuses are based on how the team performs. You will grow your accounts and build lasting client relationships, but we work as one team, supporting each other's projects.

We use AI tools to take repetitive admin off the team, so your time goes on clients, creatives and getting the work right.

Key responsibilities

Account and project ownership

  • Manage the shared inbox day to day so nothing is missed
  • Respond to new enquiries promptly and take them through to delivery independently
  • Qualify enquiries on budget before approaching crew, and decline work we cannot deliver well or have no capacity for
  • Lead client calls confidently, prepared and with the right information to hand
  • Manage photography and video projects end to end, from brief and scoping to crew, delivery and invoicing
  • Cover colleagues' accounts during holidays and peak periods

Commercial

  • Establish budget, delivery timeframe and usage before approaching creatives
  • Build accurate, commercially sound quotes
  • Negotiate rates with creatives and know when to hold firm with clients
  • Spot extension opportunities, such as offering video to a client who books photography
  • Follow up proposals and chase outstanding invoices and purchase orders

Relationships

  • Grow repeat business with existing clients
  • Build more than one contact inside each key account
  • Keep in touch with previous clients

Creative network

  • Book, brief and support photographers and videographers across the UK and internationally
  • Source, vet and onboard new creatives, including portfolio review and an introductory call
  • Keep creatives' records, contracts and insurance up to date

Systems and process

  • Work in Light Blue and Google Workspace, keeping job records accurate
  • Check and approve AI-prepared admin before it goes out
  • Document how you work and suggest improvements
  • Make operational decisions yourself, and escalate anything contractual, reputational or involving an unhappy client straight away

Content

  • Write the occasional blog post or piece of website content. Social media is a small part of the role

About you

You are organised, commercially minded and calm under pressure. You enjoy relationships with clients and creatives alike, and you take ownership rather than waiting to be told. We welcome applicants returning to work after a career break.

Essential

  • 5+ years in account or project management in a photography agency, production company, event agency, creative services or talent management business
  • A track record of managing client accounts and projects independently
  • Experience writing quotes and proposals, with strong commercial awareness
  • Experience booking, briefing and managing freelance photographers or videographers, with daily contact
  • Hands-on experience with booking systems and booking processes (Light Blue or similar), plus Google Workspace
  • Excellent at multitasking: several clients, creatives and deadlines at once, with close attention to detail
  • Excellent written English and a confident manner on calls
  • Happy working from home full time, used to doing so, with a good home set-up
  • Used to working with AI tools day to day
  • Flexible and happy to pitch in wherever needed in a small team

Desirable

  • Video production experience, or a real interest in developing it
  • An existing network of photographers, videographers or production suppliers
  • Experience coordinating international events or productions
  • Experience working with clients and creatives across time zones
What we offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience, plus a bonus based on team performance
  • Real ownership of accounts and room to grow with the business
  • Flexible remote working
  • Work with globally recognised brands on projects across 30+ countries
  • A small, supportive team where your ideas shape how we work
