As a Travel Customer Support Representative with PerLuxe Travels, you will provide accurate, empathetic support and keep every customer request traceable through resolution. The position is full-time, fully remote, and available to candidates based in the United States.
Publicly described focus: Leisure agency positioning premium travel at accessible value, with custom family, couples, group, resort, cruise, and Disney planning. You will work from traveler requests, itinerary details, supplier confirmations, booking records, and follow-up tasks. The operating emphasis is custom quotes and stress-reducing planning, so accuracy, ownership, and documented handoffs matter as much as speed.
A Typical Day
Review account, order, booking, service, or case history before responding and avoid asking customers to repeat known information. Resolve routine requests within documented authority and escalate complex, sensitive, or policy-dependent issues with complete context. Record the reason for contact, actions taken, commitments made, and next follow-up in the appropriate system.
Follow-Through You'll Own
- Identify recurring questions or broken handoffs and share useful examples with quality, operations, or knowledge owners.
- Respond to assigned customer questions through approved channels using clear, respectful, brand-aligned language.
Sound judgment about policy, privacy, escalation, and the limits of the role. Accurate case notes and dependable follow-through. Ability to stay organized and professional during changing priorities or difficult conversations. Empathetic customer communication across email, phone, chat, or other assigned channels. In this Travel Customer Support Representative role, success means customers receive correct and timely answers, records explain the full interaction, escalations arrive with useful context, and promised follow-up is completed. Work should be accurate enough to review, documented enough to continue, and timely enough that avoidable delay is visible before it becomes a customer or operating problem.
